Accessibility

Welcome ImageThe BugWorld Experience takes great pride in how accessible our insectarium is to ensure that all our visitors have the best experience during their visit. Our staff are sensitive to the needs of our guests and will try to meet any special needs sensitively and respectfully.

Designated parking for blue badge holders is available on Gower Street, just 2 minutes from the entrance to the BugWorld Experience.

We are fully wheelchair accessible, with a lift available to take visitors up to the first floor and disabled toilets on the ground floor. All of our walkways and doorways have ample room for wheelchair access and our counters and displays have been designed to be suitable for wheelchair users.

A hearing loop is available for visitors with hearing impairments and all of our signage is compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act. If you find it difficult to read any of the information around our exhibition, a member of staff will be happy to assist you. We are happy to arrange specialised guided tours for visually impaired visitors to ensure the best possible experience.

For visitors with young children, we have a buggy park available as well as baby changing facilities.

We aim to meet all of your needs during your visit to the BugWorld Experience. If you have specific needs you would like to discuss, or for further information please don’t hesitate to contact us on 0151 708 4938 or enquiries@bugworldexperience.co.uk.
